Manorama-CVoter Survey: 2026 Projection
The mega survey conducted by Manorama News and C-Voter indicates the direction of the 2026 Kerala Assembly Election.
Overall Projection
| Front | Seat Range |
|---|---|
| UDF | 69–81 |
| LDF | 57–69 |
| NDA | 1–5 |
Regional Trends
- South Kerala — LDF ahead; retaining its traditional stronghold
- North Kerala — UDF showing strong performance
- Nemom — BJP's Rajeev Chandrasekhar projected to defeat CPM's V Sivankutty and Congress's KS Sabarinadhan
Comparison with 2021
In 2021, LDF made history winning 99 seats. The survey suggests repeating that performance will be difficult. If UDF secures 69–81 seats as projected, it would be a stronger showing than their 2016 performance.
NDA's Position
The 1–5 seat projection signals marginal NDA progress. Nemom, Vattiyoorkavu, and Kazhakkoottam are identified as BJP's best prospects.
A Word of Caution
Surveys indicate direction, they don't predict outcomes. Last-minute swings are common in Kerala. The voters' decision on April 9 is what ultimately counts.
